My LLB Companion · last updated 10 October 2026
1. Study purpose only
My LLB Companion is made for students of the 3-year LL.B. programme, to help them revise. It is not a law firm, does not give legal advice and creates no lawyer-client relationship. Nothing here should be relied on to decide a real legal matter, to file a document, or to advise anyone.
2. How the content was prepared (AI-assisted)
The notes, lectures, quizzes, assessment questions, dictionary entries and other explanatory material were prepared with the help of popular AI assistants, working from the syllabus of Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) and the reference works and authors that the syllabus recommends, together with study notes supplied by the site owner. AI tools can make errors, leave out points, misquote a case or a section, or state a rule that has since changed. The material has not been reviewed or approved by KSLU, by any teacher or by a practising lawyer.
The text of Acts (for example the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and the Constitution of India) is copied from public sources and may contain copying errors or be missing later amendments. The Gazette of India, India Code and the university's own notices are the authoritative sources.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without any promise that it is correct, complete, current or suitable for any purpose, including passing an examination. Laws, thresholds, rates, syllabus and examination patterns change. Quiz answers and model answers may be wrong; if your textbook, teacher or the official text disagrees with this site, they are right and this site is wrong.
4. Your responsibility and our liability
You use the site at your own risk and are responsible for checking what you rely on. To the fullest extent the law of India allows, the owner of this site is not liable for any loss, damage, marks lost, failure in an examination, or other consequence arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or from any error or omission in its content. Nothing in this Disclaimer limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
5. Third-party material and links
The site links to or summarises third-party sources, such as the KSLU notifications page, news feeds and previous-year papers. The owner does not control those sources and is not responsible for their content or availability. Names such as KSLU, university, college and publisher names belong to their owners; this site is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
